Politeknik Cristo Re is a vocational higher education institution located in Maumere, East Nusa Tenggara, and operates under the Cristo Re Foundation owned by the Diocese of Maumere. Officially established on June 24, 2020 through the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 590/M/2020, this institution was founded in response to the need for contextual and applied vocational education that aligns with the local potential in Eastern Indonesia.
With a commitment to accessible and quality education, Politeknik Cristo Re supports the government’s policy in developing technology-based vocational education that incorporates local wisdom. Its focus is to equip students, particularly those from middle- to lower-income backgrounds, with practical skills that are relevant to the industrial sector and regional development.
