Padang Karunia Group was established in 2002 and began exploring coal resources in Indonesia, particularly in Kalimantan, where there are many quality coal reserves. Considering the abundance of coal reserves, we chose to develop a coal mine and infrastructure (road and port) in Rantau, South Kalimantan.
Supported by coal mining infrastructure with a volume capacity of up to 15 million tonnes annually, Padang Karunia Group facilitates the utilization of 85 million tonnes of mineable coal reserves out of a total of 275 million tonnes of coal reserves. Padang Karunia Group aims to be a trusted source and partner of choice for coal-using industries worldwide by focusing on its human resources and technological capabilities.
